Check out the brand new trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story from Disney and Lucasfilm after the jump.

So, it has finally dropped and the world is losing their collective nerd minds over the new trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The new trailer shows some amazing new planets and some seriously cool vehicles the stormtroopers get to operate. We get to see the new U-Wing ship which looks cool. We also get to see a tank-like, armored vehicle the stormtroopers are using and a new AT-ACT which looks cool and like it has a red cylon front piece. This all looks cool, but how the hell is Disney adding new stuff when this takes place right before A New Hope? Do not get me wrong, I will be there opening day because I am a Star Wars stand. The music for this trailer is absolutely boring and does not give the feels that the music for TFA trailer gave off. I mean this is supposed to be a desperate time for the rebellion and I was just sitting here with McKayla Maroney face. I am not impressed. Disney is going all out with the scenery for Rogue One. We see no Jedi in the trailer, only a slight mention of the force from Chirrut Imwe. We do get to see the epic and most villainous Darth Vader in the closing scene with his musical score for the scene. Darth Vader’s scene was the most exciting scene in the whole trailer. I can not wait for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story to hit theaters on December 16th, 2016. Gareth Edwards is directing and it stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Jiang Wen, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk and Jonathan Aris.
