It’s almost time for the premiere of Guillermo del Toro’s latest horror flick Crimson Peak, and that means a better look at what’s going on in the film, and some tidbits from the cast and del Toro himself. In two brand-new featurettes, Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, and Charlie Hunnam give us the details on their characters, that dreadful looking house, and remind us that the common theme here is the keeping of secrets.
I’m going to be honest. The movie looks good, but I’m worried about the fact that the cast keep talking about a “gothic romance”. I’m not really here for all that, especially when I go to see a horror movie. Let’s hope that Crimson Peak is long on the horror, and short on the mushy stuff. Look for it in theaters on October 16th.
