ARROW Will Introduce The Flash in Three Episodes; Gets Spinoff

The Flash will make his big debut in The CW’s Arrow this season before moving on to his own series.  I guess Wonder Woman can’t catch a break…

Series writer Geoff Johns and Arrow co-creators Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg made the information public today according to Deadline, indicating that The Flash will be introduced sort of as an average guy as he comes into his powers.

By the time the spinoff series debuts, the transformation from regular guy to superhero will have come full circle, but we’ll also get to see how the other characters, Arrow particularly, comes to relate to Barry Allen.

This news will most likely come as a huge affront to those who’ve been waiting for a Wonder Woman series and/or movie, especially after the announcement of a Man of Steel sequel featuring Batman.  The Wonder Woman series for the CW is still in development limbo as we speak.

What do you think?  Was this the right move for The CW?
