Fresh Trailer: 'Stoker' Starring Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska | Geek Mundo

Mia Wasikowska plays a teen who is dealing with the death of her father and her living with her cruel mother in this thriller by Park Chan-Wook. If the name sounds familiar, that’s because Park directed the cult classic ‘Oldboy’. You can see his work all over this:

Synopsis:

After India’s father dies, her Uncle Charlie, who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her unstable mother. She comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives and becomes increasingly infatuated with him.

I like the little details. The spiders in certain scenes with Wasikowska (bless her brave heart). If there is one person who can make creepy look multidimensional on film, it’s Park Chan-Wook. And let’s not even get into how perfect Nicole Kidman is as the cold-hearted mother. Remember ‘Prison Break’ star Wentworth Miller? Well, he wrote the screenplay for ‘Stoker’. Talented guy. You can catch ‘Stoker’ in theaters March 2013.
